PMI-PBA® certification emphases on the importance of business analysis for project management. The certification indicated that the credential holder can take up both the role of a business analyst and project manager. As a PBA® credential holder, you would be able to:

  • Review problems, use various analysis techniques and develop scope statement to create a business case input
  • Use the business cases along with organizational objectives to plan various activities
  • Identify requirement, analyze and decompose requirements and use valuation techniques to accept or reject the requirement

PMI-PBA® Certification Training Pre-requisites

To appear for the PMI-PBA® certification exam, you should either:

  • Hold a Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate degree or global equivalent) along with 7500 hours of business analysis experience and 35 contact hours of formal education in business analysis

Or

  • Hold a four-year degree (Bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent) with 4500 hours of business analysis experience and 35 contact hours of formal education in business analysis.
